1st thing is don't trash your guns,swords, or dolls that you have gotten from quests...basics can use those but once they are gone they are gone for good.

One time, I had recieved a response from a Live Chat rep explaining that it is possible to redo the quest to obtain the Fine Cutlass and other weapons from a Developer reply to my Bug report case.

Then they changed their mind.

"At this time, you are not able to retrieve lost quest weapons such as the Fine Cutlass. We will look into this issue and hope to provide resolution soon."

8 months later...

Still not possible...

Even if you are basic, you can still loot a lot and once you get unlimited again, you can use all of the things you looted.
