Actually you can get about 1500-2000 gold in loot total in just one run if you board public ships. The thing is to max out royals.

Makeo, that appears to be the only reason except for famed stuff they go to Darkhart. That tent of his, HE MUST HAVE A MINING FACILITY UNDER IT! >:|!
