Hi!

I just hit Level 25 and I got the task to visit Barbossa. I went to him and he babbled something about the "Rhines something Rings". But that was it....no further tasks etc.... Are these things we randomly collect, like the Rogues & Medals?

Yes, if you check your treasure page, you should now have unlocked the "rings" treasures. They're to be collected just as any other treasure, get a little gold and something shiny to look at :)

yea those treasure quests are kinda weird

From my understanding, after Barbossa (and mind you, I'm only level 31), there is the Treasure Chess Set then as well. Tia Dalma's menagerie is next I believe.

What happens when you get all of the rings? I'm still trying to get the left thumb...

just like all the other treasure quests, nothing actually happens. It took me forever to complete that collection...longer than all the others actually. Good luck!

Here is another gripe I have with the game. In the very least something that says "You got the whole collection! Congrats!" but not even that. A small notoriety prize, or HPs, or Voodoo, or Gold.. or something.. ANYTHING!!! They have means of making these 'treasures' play more of a role... lets us pray.. someday.

But in reality when you get them all... nothing happens, other than your list of treasures/items extends further.

I have read here, that we DO receive 25pts Notoriety for each "new" item you find/add to your collection.

You dont even get a slap on the back for completion. However I do thing they will be coming in play on the next chapters updates coming out. Swan did mention the 9 rouges and when you returned with the capt, she mentions a future with that.....

Has anyone noticed that the 9 Pirates Lords are a little wonkie. There should be 10. Sao Feng and Elizabeth Swann are technically the same pirate lord, yet they each have an individual painting. They forgot Arman. See what happens to you when you sit and watch All the Pirate movies over and over and over and over and over.....? You get the point, Mates.:psmiley35:

I've noticed that two, as I've played the PC-CD games, in addition to having a good memory and having seen the movie. However, I couldn't name the last lord for the life of me, but anywhoo...

I think there should be a special quest for them, where you can get all of them on your hands. That'd be pretty awesome: a whole fist full full of curse.
