Yesterday on a daring and dangerous voyage, a promotion was made. While in deadly combat with a Red Dervish, a Dreadnought, a Black Harbinger, and a Death Omen, Johnny Darkwalker had the honor of earning the rank of Senior Officer!

When Captain Sharktooth decided to close down Elite Ones, he decided to merge the guild with the Sorcerors. Many of their members and officers came in, including one of their officers: Johnny Darkwalker. He started out as a veteran in the guild due to his rank in the Elite Ones. He was a very fun person to be around, always happy, fun, and a great veteran. Soon it came time for him to be promoted to the rank of Officer. His promotion allowed him to do a lot more than he could before, and he went above and beyond what an officer needs to do. As officer, he not only did the duties of an officer, but went beyond to help with duties that a Senior Officer should do. Combined with his dedication, loyalty, and love towards this guild, the Council of Shadow and I decided that it was time he achieved the rank of Senior Officer! Congratulations mate!!!

Now, away from the official-ness, I would like to say a few words that are a bit more personal. Johnny has always been a wonderful friend to me. He is one of the few I can always count on to be at my side in even the toughest of times. He has always been giving me advice in areas not just related to the guild, but to life. He has changed the way I think, and who I am. While perhaps it doesn't display on the surface, you are truly a very wise person, wiser than a lot of other people who seem to display it right on the surface. And your kindness and love are appreciated by all of us. You earned this rank mate!
