cannon ammo?
 

hi everyone!

i was wondering what you have to do to buy the fireball cannon ammo for the ships. im lvl 13 on sailing and i still cant buy any special ammo for the ships side guns. i want to get the seige charge and what have you. let me know. thank in advance!

Did you unlock firebrand? If you unlocked it you should be able to buy fire at the ammo shops :)

Are you referring to ammo for your Broadside guns???

As far as i know .. and i hope that i am incorrect .. you can not upgrade broadsides...if you want to blast fire then get a crew together that has a good cannon lvl and let them have at it... and if i am wrong please tell me how to do it

once you hit .. i think lvl 8 cannons you unlock firebrand, spend the skill point to open it up ... Maybe someday they wil expand the capabilties of our ships... i hope

yeah im talking about the broadside guns. id really like the ones with fire. i am still level 13 in sailing and id think that at least unlock some stronger cannons i fire when use my broadside cannons on ships. my broadside cannons are upgraded to max powe too! id really like stronger ammo.

you cannot upgrade your broadsides to fire anything else than regualr cannon balls.

Nope, sorry. As already mentioned - there are no 'fireball' broadsides...

NPC (Enemy) Ships get to do it because they 'have crew firing' at you (you don't get to see them of course) - that why you'll see the NPC ship fire its 'Broadside Guns' first then a few seconds later the 'fireballs' (or in the case of Ghost Ships Lighting or Fury)

Though you cannot upgrade the Broadsides - the best thing to do is make them faster loading with the Taskmaster Sailing option (which will open later... save some points for it) then when you do fire Broadsides - they recharge much faster! :)

Sorry but you can only fire regular cannon ammo from your broadsides. The cannons that players fire remain to be told on what cannon level they have and if they have the ammo they need in stock.

There you have it folks, that's no three times in a row, what more can you ask for? Maybe some more advice.

If you're wanting to shoot fire, work on getting your cannon skills up. Not your sailing skills.

Sailing skills generally don't = raw damage

All Cannon skills = raw damage
Every single skill in the Cannon line will improve your damage, either directly affecting the damage output or the rate of fire (which inturn increases the raw damage)

However on a side note, I heard that ship customization would be coming a while back when they were working on pirate customization. Weve already got the stores and stuff for that so the ship stuff might be in the works. I seriously hope they do implement the cannonball changes in the future and base them off the lvl of your cannons. Especially with the larger cannon pouches we will be able to get with the weaponry upgrade. Lets hope the devs hear us on this.....

GIVE US Firebrand/lightning and FURY Broadsides too!!!!
