How do I capture a flag? I know how to board a flagship but cannot seem to figure out how to capture a flag.

If you're doing a quest to capture flags, you just need to sink ships as stated in your journal (I think it's EITC? lol but I dont remember). :)

So my quest is to bring Carver a EITCO Flag. All I have to do is sink an EITCO ship? any ship? not a flagship?

Yup, that's it :) Need to be sure what kind of ship you need to sink. Sometimes it says any EITC, and sometimes it'll say Frigate or Galleon, or either.

is there a difference between and EITCo ship and a Navy ship? Cause I still can't figure it out. Carver sent me to capture a flag from an East India Trading Co ship. I've sunk several ships and no luck.

The EITC ships are black and white, and the Navy ships are red and white. Sometimes you'll have to sink many ships before you find what you're looking for :)

There are many quests that ask you to find things on ships.. things and people!
You dont have to actually get on those ships and find those things. Sink the ship and eventually you will get credit. Some quests will take sinking several ships til you get what you need. Others are just the simple sinking of a certain kind of ship. EITC tend to be a bit more difficult to sink than the Navy ones. If/when you do board the actual flag ships you have to kill the guys on the ship before it sinks.

yes just sink any EITC ship however if the quest is asking specifically galleons or frigates u cant sink sloops
