Voodoo Staff Banish Skill Question

Ok its Only Effective versus Undead but it does nothing to Stumps the Jolly Roger Symbols next to the stumps life bar shows its an Undead Enemy shouldnt Banish Skill do damage?

I'm not sure, but as far as I can remember, living creatures that can be shot have the undead symbol only to distinguish them from unshootable targets. They are still not considered undead. But I really don't know what kind of an enemy a stump is...

In POTCO Wiki it seems to be classified as a plant, so it's not undead.

Stumps/Jolly Roger's crew are not considered undead as far as I know.

lol i meant they have the jolly roger symbol by stumps by their are not undead Jolly roger symbols is supposed to be by undead only

Simon Redbeard 02-02-2008 04:09 PM

Yeah, it would be sensible if the Jolly Roger symbol was only for undead, but POTCO has chosen to use it for both undead and living if you can use the pistol on them. Every alligator in the game, for example, carries the undead status according to the symbol next to the health bar. Maybe it would be better to add one more symbol for living shootable creatures so that only undead carried the Jolly Roger symbol.

I agree, they should make a different symbol.

stooting LIVE animals? sorry that's a BIIIIIIIIIG Disney no no:vgrin:

Undead basically means you're not alive technically, but not dead either. For Disney, shooting live animals or people would be a no no. I think tree stumps should qualify as undead since undead means "no longer alive but animated by a supernatural force, as a vampire or zombie". Isn't a tree stump a dead tree, and if it moves it's animated?

yeah ..well if i were navy .. i would really perfer a nice bullet to the back of the head .. then a slow repeated stabbing.... or even being eaten be insects...or burned slowly by a ineffective mediocre scorch spell.... yeah just shoot me i am good with the nearly painless vs the omg that really hurts hurry up and off me .. lol

i think the symbol just shows us that they are unnatraul enimies .. given dangerous capabilties by Jolly Roger ... not that they are undead .. granted some are ...and even Mickey himself wouldnt mind busting a cap in their .... but yes a few different symbols need to be added

Later, sand in my rum to remove
