I'm new to the forum, looking forward to meeting new friends and plunder pals!:buds: I'm looking for a mature, active guild to join. I am playing basic at the moment but have had membership in the past and will get membership again. I am working on my baby pirate for the limited access duration because it's free play and I can still level. Welcome to POF! There are many things that this forum is home to, from tips, tricks, and guides to help you around the Caribbean, to stories and tales from many of the Caribbean's greatest writers, to just chatter about what goes on in our fair seas. However, what these waters are notoriously for are housing some of the best and most notorious guilds across the seven seas.

However, when looking for a guild on here, I suggest you not sit here and wait for guilds to come to you. Often, guilds will try to persuade you to join them, when in actuality you never know if they can fit you as a pirate or not. Instead, to ease your time in searching for an ideal guild, the forums have provided a very clean-cut way of presenting guilds from across the Caribbean so that you can make the best judgement on which group of seafarers is right for you. The majority of guilds can be found in the Guilds and Clans Section - here, you can find threads for an assortment of guilds from across the seven seas, each showcasing what they got and why you might be interested in joining them.

There are also some guilds that have their own subforums around here, which present to you some of the finest guilds in all the waters. Here, you can find Black Bart's Krewe, Shadow Sorcerors, and my own guild, Partners N Crime, all of which have proven to hold some of the kindest and most mature pirates around. Look at as many guilds as you can, and take your time - remember, only you can judge which guild is the best for you, so don't rush your decision. Once you think you have found a good guild, and have read over their rules, Private Message the Guildmaster of that guild and ask for instructions on how to join.

It seems I'm a bit late so the welcome wagon has already gotten here, so I'll keep my post nice and short: Welcome aboard, don't touch rum that isn't yours, don't touch any green meat, and under NO circumstances should you EVER, EVER... I lost my train of thought.
