Maybe not a game...

This might not be a game, but does anybody else here play around with rubik's cubes? Personally, I don't just play around with them. I'm ADDICTED to them. For example, about 10 minutes ago I finished doing an average of 100 solves on my 2x2 rubik's cube. My average of 100 on that was 10.14 seconds. I also got a new record on the 2x2, of 2.42 seconds. :psmiley27: On the 3x3 rubik's cube, my record is 30.14 seconds and my average of 12 is 48.35 seconds. So, anybody else play with rubik's cubes? Maybe this can be a little corner where we discuss them. :piratewheelgo2::dancetl6:

I have three Rubik's Cubes... I have the classic 3x3 one, a 4x4 one and a circular one. I'm rubbish at them though! The only one I can do is the 4x4... but I only shuffle it 2x2. I suppose I should practice. :P

I had one many years (decades lol) ago. I also had the pyramid that was similar to the cube. Then there was that snake type puzzle that twisted into all kinds of shapes.

Ah! I recently got one of those! I'm still discovering new shapes to make. :P

That one you're talking about is the rubik's twist. It goes into many shapes, the object is to put it into a cube. :)

Really? I can only get it into a ball. :P

Nate Swordwalker 09-11-2011 12:19 AM

Lol! That's the easiest shape on it. (except for the straight line! :D) I don't really like it. :p

Sorry for double post.

The Rubik's Twist is also called a Rubik's Snake. :)

I used to be able to do the plain rubik cube, but I forgot one step so I can't do it anymore :(

Today I successfully taught a kid at my school how to solve the rubik's cube. :) He is quite excited. Took two hours. :O :)

Im still on the look out for a rubiks revenge! You should tell me some of the short-cut algorithms that solve the 4x4 faster instead of using the original 8 steps.... ;)

*bump*.... Triple post O_o Sorry.

Nate Swordwalker 10-23-2011 07:24 PM

I don't really need to say bump or quadruple post, do I?

I went to my first competition yesterday and I got first! :O Make this thread more active, eh?
