Better Graphics/Smoother Animation
 

Is there any way to manually edit files to increase the graphics quality and to smooth out the animations in PotC. I tried tinkering with some of the config files myself but just ended up crashing my game. I did see options within those files for widescreen, texture and other options but do not know how to make the changes safely.

Anyone know how to go about this?

No. Disney frowns upon any tampering with the program and/or use of third party applications in conjunction with the game. This in fact could jeopardize your account.

The best you can do is tweak your Operating System for maximum performance and upgrade your hardware if needed.
