Does anyone know the fasted way to get notoriety?

This answer to this question might be a tip... so it might fit in the forum!

My pirate is lv. 27 (3 more levels until staff) it is really hard to get notoriety these days!

You can see weapon levels in my profile. So, here's the question again, does anyone know the fastest way to get notoriety?

Chris 01-27-2008 02:41 PM

the black pearl quest and once thats done nothing really just lv up ye weapons

Mr. Wack 01-27-2008 02:46 PM

Hmm, I knew that would help... anyone have other ways too?

Ah! I just saw I messed up on the word "fastest"

Chris 01-27-2008 03:04 PM

nope thats about the only 2 ways to lvl up and weapon lvling can be very boring

Pirate Rose 01-27-2008 04:11 PM

Grind your lower level weapons all day, using your lowest level weapons. We have people in our guild that have gained 2 or 3 not. levels (mid-upper 20's) in one day. Like Chris said that would get really boring unless some fun guild chat is going on.

If it were me though, I would sail sail sail. Forget the little boats, go for the big ones and get 110 rep per. It's more fun. If you cannon and sail, of course you would get more rep.

yes sinking the ATM with a great wondeful guild can be loads of fun plus the cargo is great

My weapon levels are too high for the crabs... :(

Mr. Wack 01-30-2008 10:02 PM

Well, the story quests won't work now... because I need to do the boss battle... *sigh* any fast, easy ways?

Chris 01-30-2008 10:25 PM

no there is no other easy way to lvl up besides killing stuff for weapons

ScurvyCory 01-31-2008 12:07 AM

I would suggest attuning some Seabeards in Tormenta Cave. You'll get 100 rep each.

I got 15 Voodoo levels in a day doing that. ( And the rest of my 32 level. )

If your profile is correct, your pistol, dagger, and grenades levels aren't too high for the driftwood crabs. :)

If you go to cuba and go to where the vodoo lady live you go up the first ramp and the down and head across to the second ramp go up the first ramp and stop dont go up to the top then turn around and shoot the 3 alligators there you get 100 rep and there cant hurt you because ther glich under the platform so killing them will be easy you can get your guy up fast that way! To get your sword up do the same thing but this time shoot the alligators 2-3 times let them get under the dock where you are then take out your sword and point the cursor down at the alligator and start swing your hit the alligator every time and will not get kill continue this till you get to level 12-13 you might be able to go farther but that how far i got! To level voodoo do the same thing but bring them under the platform where you stand shoot them a few times the use vodoo on them over and over you will not get kill and these are level 10-13 alligators!

Try this:

Head to Fort Charles. When you are there, stand near Bingham and Greer. If you see an enemy, attack them then run back to stand near Bingham and Greer. Keep attacking until low on HP, then when you wish to, press shift to talk to Greer or Bingham, and pay five gold to fully heal (Try to do this quickly, since enemies keep attacking even while you talk to someone). You'll probably get 15 gold if you defeat a Veteran, way more than the five you wasted.
