A slight inconvinience...
 

My newest character is stuck in Padres, with the following:

Notoriety level: 0
Gold: 0
No ship, weapons or any other items.
No quests.

A bit hard to do anything... :sadmh9:

Went to Port Royal with another char. Some people seem to have this same bug. Made a bug report and replied to the automatic response. Hope Simon isn't lost forever...

Simple explanation, some pirate came and plundered all your belongings while you were busy snoozing. Since they took your ship and all your gold, your notoriety became zero.

Aww sorry to hear about this bug. This would indeed be a frustating thing, especially if you had set some goals for today. :(

I'm Mourning for ye mate, mourning myself too for my oldest original character since this game went live (and since beta 1 and 2) is marooned on this same island with Notoriety lvl: 0, no gold, no weapons, no ships etc...

i was a Lvl 27 pirate waiting for the "boss battle". If this doesn't get fixed real quick ill be cancelling real soon. AARGGGG!!!!:piratear::pirate7::pirate2wn0:

Well well well. It seems we all have the same problem. Apparently, I logged in shortly after upgrading to unlimited access. My notoriety is 0, no weapons or ships. If I go on someone else's ship and try to use a cannon, the game disconnects me, and I have to log in again. If I try to speak to an N.P.C. and try to do their quests, no menu pops up and I have to exit the screen. This is indeed frustrating.

I'm sorry about your character and all the other characters that are the casualties of this bug. :sadmh9: Hope this gets fixed soon.

My older pirate is in the same boat. Lev 0 now, no skills. no boat. :sadmh9: It is a sad day.

I have the same bug. My level 18 pirate is stranded on Port Royal with everything missing and Notoriety at 0.

I talked to a rep on live Chat and they said there wasnt a solution at the moment. Said that the senior Techs was looking into this and we'll be contacted soon as there is a fix.

However I did create another pirate and everything seems normal, except that now I get kicked from the servers every 2 to 5 mins.

Yeah, I made another pirate, and it works fine. I'm still keeping my old one though. Apparently, if you go to your "Pirate Channel", it shows the correct stats for your pirate. However, the game does not show these stats. It's as if the game doesn't even think you are in it; try stepping up to an enemy. The enemy doesn't even try to attack you. It's kind of fun though stepping up to the Grunt in Port Royal and having a nice conversation with him. He doesn't even see you or attack you.

Mine is back as well. I wonder if the maintenance window they had today was to fix that.

Mine is fixed as well. Thank god. I was going to cancel if all my stuff was fubar.

I am sure with all online games and being crowed by the masses there will many a bug to fix and many a patch to tend too but in the end all will work out .. For it is Disney and they will make sure all is well in the cyber ocean... :piratewheelgo2:

Yup, sure enough my stuff is back.
