Why is my pirate freezing?

So, I went to loot at DH. Was joined by another pirate whom I did not know-but it's cool. I kept freezing. I have experienced that before but never to the degree that happened today. The other pirate said "I am moving so fast that I can't control my pirate". I said "Swift-glitch"? He replied yep. I said that is probably why I am freezing so bad. He said "Maybe". So, I tp'ed to another server to find out. And, apparently, it was the glitch causing me to freeze because it didn't occur again. Thanks for ruining my play-time, mate! Have some consideration for others-PLEASE! It's only being courteous to your fellow pirates!!!:sadmh9: And "No" I did not report because I had to find out first by tp'ing to another server.

It might be your computer. Since the Swift Foot glitch makes said person move so fast, it might have caused your computer to protest and freeze.

Maybe, but tp'ing to another server stopped my freezing completely. So, in essence, the glitching caused my problem.

Almost every time I sign in this week I freeze. Almost always when I teleport. And I think this is just some bug at PO staff because this never happened to me....

It's not your PC....that I know for a fact since I was the one that remotely fixed it. Internet connection speed bump...perhaps, but highly doubtful. If switching servers did not correct the issue there might be more to review here.

Good to know AKA. I keep saying this but many do not believe me-Glitching breaks the code of the game!

The code in the game has needed to be tightened up for years. Hopefully this will improve with our feedback and the future updates.

/agree
But, the Devs keep fixing things & pirates find another way of tearing holes in the game. We all desire new content & updates. But, if the Devs have to repeatedly go back & repair-they cannot focus on new things in-game. Sorry, if this seems like a rant. But, some things that occur in-game get my pirate blood boiling. And this is a very good example of such events.

Keep in mind that a glitch is something in existence that a player stumbles across. The players are not necessarily breaking the code or making it any worse. What can happen when they toy with the glitches are typically undesirable results in game play.

Stumbling across a glitch=a report.

<tapes mouth-have a problem with thinking out loud too much>
