Welcome to the forums, and to POTCO! Considering how your pirate is only level 9, and you're still relatively new to the game, I suggest that in order to make things a little bit easier for you, you take in to consideration perhaps befriending a few of the pirates on these forums in-game, or possibly even joining a guild.

If you would be interested in meeting up with a few pirates in game, then try posting a thread in the Crews and Mateys Section to see who would be able to meet up with you. If you're looking for a more long-term voyage with other pirates, then you can check out the Guilds and Clans Section, as well as the subforums of the guilds which are sponsored by the forums (Black Barts Krewe, my own guild Partners N Crime, and Shadow Sorcerors.) Take a look at all of the guilds, including their rules and so forth, and if you're interested in one in particular, Private Message the Guildmaster about checking it out.

Wow Del, you posted the links like a real pro! Anyways, its great to have you here on the forums mate! Remember to try out the many different activities lying around, waiting to be posted on. Also be sure to check out the collection of other things on the forums, such as questions about the game, events, guilds, updates, and even other people's stories.

I can't wait to see another face... I mean avvie here on the forums!

That was actually my rum I belched up. It's highly toxic to most people, except me. I highly suggest you stay away from it. Oh, and see that green meat? Don't touch it. See those bottles? Don't touch them. See Awesome? Don't touch it. You can touch this rum I stole from Crestshot though.

As Del said, seeing as you're new, it wouldn't hurt to get to know some people. He posted all the links, but I'll just say Aye, you should go looking for a guild and some good friends. Welcome aboard the POF! We hope you enjoy (or don't) enjoy your cruise with us. Everybody stole the main things you are supposed to hear. As I have heard you are level 9, feel free to talk to any of us about anything, or just meeting up in game. Just don't ask people what your rum tastes like. They might take a bit to get it, like a couple of bottles or so. Anyways, I don't believe there is anything else for me to say, as the bilge rats above me stole everything.
