Did you like the Hunters update,

I was wondering, did you guys like the Hunters update?

I didn't, they bother me when trying to loot solo.

Dark_Pixie 07-25-2011 04:20 PM

I didn't like it either at first, but it grew on me. I just dock quite a lot, and I've noticed that skeletons and phantoms don't cause it to level up. The guy constantly shouting when I sink a ship gets on my nerves though, who invited him to the crew? :P

Depending on which day of the week it is my opinion changes.

The Stealthy Pirate 07-25-2011 06:25 PM

Maybe. I mean yes its fun sinking hard ships and getting a good booty, but its not fun getting shouted at by Gibbs.

I think the Scoundrels update is a lot of fun. Don't think it was created for solo sailing, but to bring pirates together in the Caribbean-to create more of a community. When I sail alone, I too dock when my cargo is full. But, with a crew, it's Sea how far ya can Go, mates! I enjoy it every time even though we might end up getting sunk now & again.

I agree with Pixie...:piratewheelgo2:

Awesome sea update, second to the Fleets only in my opinion. The Tally-ho and Red Dervish are by far my favorite Bountyhunters.

WeirdBeard 07-25-2011 10:24 PM

I say maybe, i picked no, but... i like 'em kinda. When someone else is driving.

Mr. Awesome 07-25-2011 10:25 PM

Simply one of the best updates of the game, ever.

Weirdbeard is right, it is a little annoying when looting solo, but still, I like 'em. They're simply a fun change of pace.

I voted no........ I always sail solo, for reasons unknown. and now, as if gunner's quest wasn't enough, I have over powered, over speeded ships on my tail.
Boo update! We need something a bit more fun than making a ridiculous quest harder! :(

Kat Five Knives 07-26-2011 03:23 PM

I voted yes. I imagine if you do not have close friends or guild that it would be a bit of an irritant, but I love how it pulls the crew together - all working for the goal of making it to an island with your loot and your sanity intact.

As a ship ranker I was afraid at first that it would negatively impact my ranking ships, but so far that has not happened. If I only sink the small ships around the Anvil my loot rarely if ever becomes worth enough to attract the bounty hunters. I can still sink ships for a couple of hours without porting.

Yes I do love this update.

Captain Will Cannonfury 07-26-2011 06:28 PM

I like the Hunters update because it makes the game alot more realistic. You probably already know this, but when pirates used to raid and plunder the seas, bounty hunters would go after them. And I think if the Hunters didn't get the job done, then they send the Navy out.

Captain C83 07-28-2011 06:45 AM

I like it for the most part. Could do without the pirate voice constantly talking though. Maybe he should only talk when your scoundrel level goes up and only then.
