New enemy?
 

I've just obtained a quest from one of the npc's to defeat 15 douses. Does anyone know what this is, or where they are to be found?

Well thats a good question. It sounds like a creature that lives in Tormenta, but i havent seen it there. Maybe a new enemie but i have no idea on what island that lives.

Got a tip from CaptainSquid and finally found an urchinfist on tormenta... and yes it fulfilled the Douse quest.
Course they are level 38 and 39 - fun stuff.

I just did that quest... 8 douses aka Urchenflats for 210 gold, definetely not worth it. I'm a level 40 pirate and those things aren't too easy for me. Anyone lower than level 30 shouldn't take that quest unless you have a friend (higher leveled) to help you.

what quest is it ??

I got the quest from Johnny McVane, the bartender of the King's Arm, Tortuga. It was for 15 Douses (ie. Urchinfists). I managed to kill 2 of them (they are in Tormenta Cave), but kept dying, so I have dropped the quest. I'm level 33, but still found them too difficult for the time being, and 15 of the things just seemed too daunting.

the bartender quests for Isla Tormenta and Outcast Island are very difficult.. and not worth it gold wise.. The only thing its really good for is leveling up weapons. I would think more than 100-300 gold is more appropriate for such hard quests.

Has the gold reward changed? I remember when I used to do these, I would get about 145 gold, and a few times more.

I think some of them were 135.. but it hardly seems worth it if you are just in it for the gold.. I was happy to do them for the leveling of the weapons.
