Flagships sink before grappling

Since the latest update, I've noticed that several times when I've disabled a flagship, it brings up the usual grapple message, but the ship just sinks without giving any cargo. I reported this as a bug, but just got the usual standard brush-off. Has anyone else noticed this? Defeating flagships is one of my favorite things in the game.

The only time I have encountered this is when the Firebrand shot was being used. Fire will cause the flagship to sink after being disabled instead of allowing you to board. I would make sure the crew isnt using firebrand the next time you try to board and see if that helps.

But I was sailing on my own, just the same as I normally do. I am certain that it must be due to something in the updates as it has never happened before.

I had it happen to me a couple of days ago, but not anymore. I just hit it twice with broadsides and it sunk.

I'm glad it's not just me then. I hope they fix the bug soon.

Send in a bug report so you can be sure the devs know about it. Don't assume that someone else has already sent in a bug report, or the devs may never hear about some of these problems.
