The Battle of the Scoundrels
 

Ahoy pirates!

As many of you know, the word has floated around the Caribbean of an epic battle that transpired last night, unlike what this Caribbean has ever seen before! Pirates from all over the Caribbean gathered on the Padres Docks on Antik to not only take a stand against the enemies that wished to squash their freedom, but to celebrate the beginning of what will soon unite pirates from New Spain to Lesser Antilles - the Order of the Brethren!

Pirates from all sorts of guilds in the Caribbean came to take a stand against those vicious bounty hunters, a glimmer in their eyes and fire in their hearts.

After meeting on the docks and organizing our crews, the battle plans were set (well, mostly) and we all launched our ships, preparing ourselves in the final moments before the battle. (there were so many ships, you can't even see them all in this screenshot!)

After delivering a final systems check to all of our Captain's, I gave one of my short battle cries, and we charged head in to battle!

We sank, attacked, and pillaged nearly every ship in sight! Yes, we though that the Navy, EITC and the Undead were shaking in their boots already, but soon came the real fight - bounty hunters!

Aye, was a truly epic battle indeed! Pirates fought alongside each other nonstop for nearly forty minutes, the battle constantly shifting hands between the Bounty Hunters and the Pirates. However, after much sweat, blood, and CAPS LOCK, at around 10:13 Eastern, I made the call that the battle was ended, and that all pirates should report to the Padres Docks. I crashed while making port, but luckily this gave me time to do the math from the battle while I sprinted back to my mates.

And it was after much suspense and anticipation was it announced... the pirates won!

I want to thank all the pirates and guilds from the many fan sites I visited to help make this such an amazing night! Guilds in attendance were: Partners N Crime, O'furys Court, McRaging, Emerald Regiment, Emerald Ravens, Shadow Sorcerors, Fortitudine Piratus, Tiki Lords, The Glorious Order, Black Bart's Krewe, The Paradox, United Outlaws, Eternal Warlordz, Team SvS, Sinkers United, and Jesse's Outlaws!

What a great way to kick off such a great thing such as the Order, aye? I'll be seeing you all again real soon, pirates! Happy pirating!

Del This event was simply put EPIC I had a fantastic time.. with only one gunner on my ship I made a tactical decision not to build my scoundral rank to high instead I attacked every hunter ship in sight sinking countless Killyadeads scorened sirens and Venegnces in the process unfortunately I did build enough infamy doing this that my very own Killyadead came out and lived up to it's name for once... but I picked myself up and launched again only to have the battle end a mere 5 minutes later so after all of that epic fighting and destroying hunters I walked away with a whopping sum of 31 gold coins!!! but by golly all of those pirate fought with honor and courage and I believe we showed those Navy EITC and Bounty hunter Bilge rats who's boss in the carribean and if we continue on this path the pirates WILL rule the seas!!

Wow! I wish I could have been there. Thanks to your detailed thread with many screenshots, I feel like I was there, which makes me feel better about it. :) Looks like you had a great time!!

It was really a crazy event! Laggy, a little, but seeing insane amounts of bounty hunters... Yah, that was worth it, haha. I hope to see all of you again, but perhaps not all in the same place? Haha. Maybe some screenies to come from me. :)

Aye... Great tactic, Dog! ;) Great job with the planning, Del! That was pretty fun... :D rofl... the dancing afterwords was probably the best part!:laughks2:

I got DC right in the middle of the event, but came back... It was a fun event though, thanks for hosting it Del.
