Stuck ship, hunters persist.
After much scoundreling at sea, decided to port. I went to repair the ship but someone was stuck in it so I could not repair it, now the ship was stuck! I tried to go back in but couldn't, sometimes you can. We all have had this happened before, no biggie, will just have to wait it out.
Somehow, I was able to launch my two other ships!?!? Normally, having a ship stuck meant you couldn't launch the others so I took advantage of this and launched again only to see my ship getting plummeted incessantly by hunters but yet unable to sink, meanwhile I and other ships started to nail the hunters, sink them up but more would return and attack my stuck ship. I saw this on Test once. I called it a Bountyhunter Spawner.
Dunno what caused it in your case, but on Test, the server had broken, and the person's ship was stuck at sea for over a day or two. I doubt this was the case for you, though. An En-Garde and Red Dervish were attacking the ship, but to no avail. |
Looks like a case of extreme server lag to me. The game's servers had an extremely delayed reaction to you leaving and your ship was stuck in limbo between sea and shore. That's why it took no damage and was still floating, yet you could launch other ships. Disney fails yet again.
Just my opinion on the matter. :P |

No, when I ported it had minimal damage, then it was obviously severely damaged, look at the pic, flames everywhere and no sails, but did not sink... then I was aboard another ship taking reps on the hunters when my ship just dissapeared, not sink, dissapeared...:piratealt:

Now thats creepy! at least your ship wasnt stuck forever :)
