Username change
 

Hello all, I've been thinking about my POF username, and the fact that it wasn't piratey at all started to bug me. So I've started to think about a new name for me. I know I only joined in May, but I was so eager to start that I just typed in my general screen name. And that's a problem.

My pirate names are, in the order of preference...

Misty
Deadly Nightshade
Mayhem Evermore
Mercury Black

Mercury is a guy character, so I wouldn't be too happy with using his name...

What are your thoughts? Should I change my username, or stick with Dark_Pixie (yes, there is an underscore between Dark and Pixie)?

Whatever you would be more comfortable with...remember you can only change your screen name once a year. If you change it and don't like it you would have to wait until next July to change it.

Speaking of changing, how DO you change it?

Message a mod, I believe.

I'll be absolutely sure about my new name before I change it. So I don't get horribly depressed and leave the forums for a year. ;)

I think your name is fine... I mean, look at mine! ;) It isn't piraty AT ALL. Although, if you feel that annoyed by it, I would maybe suggest something like Misty Mayhem or something interesting like that.

Misty Mayhem... didn't think of combining two character names. Thanks for the suggestion - I'm going to do some mixing and matching. :D

To tell you the truth, the username doesnt matter, all that matters is who you are.
If I changed my name to Davy Mcwrecker, it wouldnt feel right, because the underscore is kinda, like, my thing. It wouldn't be me. So if the name suits your style, and who you are, it doesnt really matter.

What's so bad about Dark Pixie? Just as Davy said, Username doesn't matter.

ether keep dark pixie or the pirate whose user name before this one was dark pixie (dark pixie for short)
