They should have more ride references

If there's anything I'm seriously disappointed with in this game, it's that there seems to be a severe lack of ride references. Here's some It think they should do;

1. make "A Pirate's life for me" one of the songs you can request at the pubs
2. make one of the islands in the game "Isla Tesoro"
3. characters from the ride such as The Auctioneer and The Red Head should be there. Yes, I know "Scarlett" is on Tortuga, but she looks nothing like her.
4. the "Dead men tell no tales" voice should be in the caves at Raven's Cove

What ride elements do you think should be in the game?

I think the ride and the game are two entirely separate entities. The ride is Disney is a generalized attraction made for pirate lovers of all ages. I think POTCO is doing the right thing by focusing in on the true life of a pirate, and eliminating the pre-teen elements that the ride showcases. The ride is enjoyable, don't get me wrong, and some of it should of course be in the game; however, I don't see the burning buildings, or the eerie caves, or the chasing in circles a valid piece to add to a game about plundering and leveling up.

On the contrary, the ride has more violence and innuendo than the game.

But I agree that they are two completely different things and ahould be left alone, we already know what happens when Disney trys to add something from the movie into the ride...

Well, aside from the Davy Jones effect taking the talking skull out of Disney World and the voices warning us about cursed treasure in Disneyland (which is really sad considering that's probably a major inspiration to the movie to begin with) I actually liked the add-ons. Okay, I don't think the pirates should be looking for Jack Sparrow either. You could've had the same add-ons without making it seem like the whole damn pirate world centers around Jack but that's another rant for another thread.

burning buildings and chasing women maybe not but doesn't the game already have eerie caves? :/ I don't need an entire re-haul of the game to pay tribute, just some little things. Like at least the "Pirates life for me" song somewhere. It's practically the franchise's theme song

The POTCO developers stated during early game development that there would be references to the ride itself in game.

The biggest reference I can think of is Rats Nest, a jungle area with burning buildings has been mentioned by the developers in the past as inspired by the ride itself.

I think the biggest reference is the music that plays in bars someimes. Listen closely, it's a variation of Yo-Ho.

What about the dog at Outcast Isle?
