Navy sails colors on a pirate ship.

I saw this on test, it was NOT an NPC ship, I gave chase, caught up, it stopped, folded the sails and sat there, I took a couple shots at it and it received no damage plus the warning about you cant damage another pirate's ship yada yada yada, it was blue on the compass and had a chosen typical ship name.

It's one of the new ships that may come soon to POTCO. Called a Kingfisher (like the Navy ship). It was released a while back on accident along with the mighty Ship of the Line and several others.

Aye the name of her Cap'n is Seagull. He is an Officer in Polly's McPrettys Guild. I have sailed her. Her broadsides are chain shot, she has a crew of 3. Great for leveling, but weak for real fighting, fun to sail none the less.

The sailor at the time was indeed me. I saw you turn to me the moment you saw me near Devil's. Was heading to the PDF area to sink Skeleton ships and I noticed you were still chasing. So I decided to stop. Figured you'd want something from me...

Except target practice :D

And yes indeed, it has Chainshot broadsides. To a Black Harbinger, I did around 50-70 damage per shot. Or somethin' like that. 1,200 HP and Chainshot broadsides, she indeed does not fare too well in battle, but she can survive. If you have a good repair crew, they can quickly fix up the HP, and the Hull Panels will eventually fix up.

I'll admit, though, the War Galleon in the background that kept firing its Broadsides... That was funny :laughks2:
Hope you had fun getting a sight at the Kingfisher. It is Seagull's by right, yep, and I do often ask him to sail it, but not every single minute. The majority of the time, though, I do have fun!

Yes, what you're looking at in this thread is one of the few Kingfishers that was purchased on test when this update accidentally came out.

^Thank you for not going for the SOTL right away.

Yeah, I was on that ship. A war galleon sunk it it in no time.
