Time Zones

It seems that when I set my timezone for Eastern Time (- 5:00), the times shown are about an hour and a half or so off from the actual time shown on my computer. My computer is set to internet time, too. I tried setting my zone back to Central to see if that would somehow fix it (the time is usually about an hour and twenty minutes or so ahead), but it was still around twenty minutes ahead! It is kinda annoying, but if there isn't anything I can do... i'm fine with it. :pirate2:

But if you can... Please help!!! :zu02zq:

it's the same for me. I mean, it's not as much of a problem as it used to be, because I'm kinda used to it now, but sometimes it's a little annoying.

Aye, that's how I kinda feel, Pie. It's just a little confusing at times when you kinda need it...

Ever since the US gov decided to change when day light savings time was in the US, the forum software has been slowly going off more and more from the actual time. Even if we reset it, it just continues to get off from the real time. This is yet another reason why we're looking to upgrade to the newest version of vB so that the time will finally stay where it should be.

Nick is looking into alternative ways to keep resetting the server's time to keep it accurrate.

It would be helpful to have it EST, so I can know what event is happening when without having to Google it. :)

Would the newest version of VB have a WYSIWYG editor? I love those! :D

Of course, that's a pretty basic function of vB.

This must be a pretty old version then. I say upgrade!
