Would you be more willing to do PVP land combat if it were accessible by an island, such as the the SVS islands allow of quick access to ship PVP?

Such as a PVP island.

Like a free for all battle island? Maybe.

Meg McBones 06-25-2011 01:28 AM

Yes! If the was an island where pirate could just fight without going to some lookout I would do way more PvP.

Captain Sharktooth 06-25-2011 01:34 AM

Definitely!! Isn't there a PvP island in the phase files??

SEAKING23 06-25-2011 03:07 AM

I already do do PVP, but if there was a island for PVP than that would be GREAT!

Mr. Awesome 06-25-2011 03:12 AM

Same as Seaking. I PVP alot already, but adding a PVP lsland would improve PVP even more than Infamy did!

Tiberius Fireskull 06-25-2011 03:16 AM

I do already do a lot of regular land PVP, but it would be nice to have an entire island dedicated to it. That way you don't need to go into a PVP, play for 5 minutes, exit, recrew, play for 5 minutes, and so on. It would make it easier overall to just play for long periods of time. Perhaps they could add a whole server dedicated to this, where all islands are places where players can kill each other, and the seas are like SVS too.

I'd like to see this, I said yes.

I said it depends. Mostly just because there might be certain things that would/wouldn't be needed in it. This kinda reminds me of my island from the May contest (look at my post on the design and island thread). I think that would be a cool type of PvP island. I'm sure there were a few others who posted a PvP island,... so if they mixed the best parts of each island together, we could have a fairly useful island! ;)

The Skirata Clan 06-25-2011 06:12 AM

I also said, it depends. Because as fun as it sound there will be groups of pirates that will attack anyone who shows up. This will cause a lot grievance and other Abassa-like fun.

Yes, yes, and more yes. Sad the Moon event is only once a year.

Captain Redhorn 06-25-2011 01:59 PM

Yes, I think that there should be an island where everyone is undead the whole time you are on in, and there are no enemies. The only people would be pirates in undead form. Once you died, you could be teleported to a respawn area.

WeirdBeard 06-25-2011 08:00 PM

I would pvp MUCH MORE if there was an island for it. That would be like tons of people doing the PvP glitch, :laughks2::laughks2::laughks2:

Something I don't like PvP is having to go through lookout, then hope that someone will join and they are not a higher level than you. With a PvP island, it would be like the Curse Of The Muertos Moon. It would be excellent.

It could be full of trees and cliffs, to make any pirate fear every corner, in case there was a high level waiting for you. There shouldn't be a compass, to add to the effect.

There could be a base, where if you get killed you respawn there with a shield around you, and you can get back into the action. But to make sure nobody just stands there and shoots, the shield fades like in current PvP, and you can't get it back until you die again.

Just brainstorming...
