Worth it?
 

ok i am nearing lvl 15 on my voodoo doll and dagger but is upgrading to the silk doll (8000) and the main gauche (10000) however i am still nearing lvl 15 sailing and i really want a war frig
my question is should i buy the silk doll and the main gauche or wait?

No, don't buy either until you have enough gold that you really don't need it anymore. Save up for the War Frigate, once you bought that than you can continue to buy whatever else you want.

The Silk Doll and the Main Gouge (and the skull staff) only do +4 damage per hit/hex. It's really not that much big a deal and won't affect how easy it is to kill an enemy much. Buying that for just a +4 is a waste (until you have the war frigate or don't need the gold), save up for the war frigate. That's much more worth it. Also make sure you buy the double and triple barrel pistol. That's also worth it.

I agree with Shhlakinz. Buy your war frig first. With your war frig or galleon, you will soon get tons more gold and can buy your new weapons then :) When you do decide to upgrade your weapons, I would upgrade pistol to triple barrel first.
