Hey guys, I think I might be back
 

Hey everyone! I'm thinking of coming back to POTCO. I've been craving to play it for quite some time now. However, I'm currently Basic Access and it takes forever for me to connect to the game. It just freezes at the "Connecting to the game...one moment please" and I want to get on to see what's new. As of right now...I've been waiting about ten minutes. Anyways, I might buy a game card soon...but who knows if I'll get bored of it again. I guess we'll have to see if it decides to let me connect.

Edit: This waiting time is starting to get out of hand. It's been at least twenty minutes...is there a new POTCO launcher or something?
Edit2: I just deleted the launcher anyway, I'll just go in from Internet Explorer or something.

I think now you half to have unlimited access to get in the launcher mate. Sorry for the info, but its the truth. :(

As of now, only Unlimited Access members can use the launcher, while Basic Access members are required to use the browser version on the Pirates Online Site. Both of them run relatively well, it's just the browser is more of an annoyance to reach and load.

Considering how long you've been gone, you definitely have yourself a handful to do nowadays. I really would getting UA for at least a month, to see if you like the new updates, because you might just find them as something far beyond what we were doing in 2009.

Actually the update wasn't as long as I expected. I decided to delete the launcher as it was starting to annoy me. I'll walk around for a bit and see if I like it. However I can't fully tell because 1/2 of the stuff I normally did was when I was unlimited access. I might need to find a new guild too...it's been a while.
(P.S.: The only annoying part is I have to re-download all of the islands!)

Ha, I remember when I used to go around and post a billion screenshots of glitches. I wonder if there are still glitches hanging around.

Its POTCO mate, you think they have changed those?

Haha, well I walked around and I like it. However, it's not fun at all as a basic. I'll talk my dad into letting me get unlimited. I have some money :)

If you've got any questions about POF or the game, feel free to PM me and I'll be glad to help you out. The Launcher no longer works for basics, as Del said, so you're going to have to use the browser (which has its ups and downs...)
