Have to redownload everything on test?
 

Everytime I log into test, it has to redownload all the islands, starting island, Port royal, etc as if I just installed the game. Is this happening to anyone else?

I still use the Test Launcher. I would imagine it was from updates. I'm not sure how the updates happen on the Browser because I don't use it. The seas are changed alot I don't see how it would have to redownload islands.. just the ocean.

Since I lost the desktop when my computer crashed, I use the browser & yes the same thing happens to me. It has had to download everytime. Don't know why-wish I knew how to change that. It is a bit of a task everytime-waiting.

Edit: This time I only had to wait briefly. Maybe it has something to do with my programs removing files that I don't use in awhile-idk

I've found playing the game in the web browser has been less stable than using the launcher. Download the launcher from the official Disney POTC site and look under "News" and then "Current News". Scroll down to the bottom and look for "Calling All Testers".
