i've been slaying about 20 huge gators now to get the croc water
but i don't even get a no water found when i slay the crocs
anybody know how come i'm lvl 21 this is to make voodoorum for the gunner

you are slaying huge gators but not getting the water?

did this quest specify where the gators had to be found?
for some reason that popped into my head...

other than that, not sure why.
go to a different location and try some more.

Yea, location may be why you are not getting anything.

Try going to the cave in Cutthroat Island because that is near Padres Del Fuego where the quest originally resides.

Both of my pirates completed this task by killing the Huge Gator that spawns near the second Fly Trap in the Misty Mire on Tortuga, so location shouldn't matter. (Unless they've changed it recently, which I kinda doubt since there aren't a lot of Huge Gators around anymore to begin with.)

I may be stating the obvious, but make sure you are killing Huge Gators, and not just Big ones. If you are, then it should say "Checking for water" regardless of whether it will be found or not.

If it still is not working, I would follow the usual procedure for dealing with suspected glitches: (1) Change servers. (2) Log out. (3) File Bug Report.

The Misty Mire location was a good spot for me but i had to keep going beyond the the second Fly Trap and start to head back towards the group of undeads. So yea go into the swamp take a left and stay to the left go between the torches before the group of the undeads, take a right keep walking past the second Fly Trap and start looking around. So where are all of the locations to find huge gators? I'm now lv 20 and need to find some for the Doc Grog quest. I've been all over Tortuga, Port Royal, Cuba, and several of the other islands and have yet to see one. Are Misty Mire and Cutthroat Island the only places (have yet to see one in Misty Mire), or are there other places?

Padres has them in the El Sudoron jungle
Cutthroat has them in the jungle there.

I haven't really seen them in misty mire recently, I only see big gators now. I know huge gators used to be there. But maybe the big gator will respawn as a huge gator?

Well, not for me. I've killed plenty of big gators there and never had one respawn as huge.

third flytrap in misty mire is always a huge u never go wrong
