Padres Teleport Quest

Ok i am looking as to where to find the padres quest do you have to be a certain level or do u just see someone?

Shhlatkinz 12-24-2007 10:25 PM

I think the Padres Del Fuego teleport access quest comes at level 23. As soon as you hit level 23, you will get a quest to visit one of the gypsy's in Padres (i think) and the quest is very easy. I think it is defeat 6 grenaders, gypsies, and brigands. Than you dig up a treasure chest somewhere and you are done.

oh ok thx :) ;)

As I recall, you don't get any notice, it just shows up in your journal after you hit lvl 23, so be sure to go in your book and look.

at the end of the quest you have to find a buried chest which can be found next to the white fence arch thing :)

Okay, I'm on this quest (which did just appear once I turned Lvl 23), and I'm stumped. I've killed the 6 Grenadiers and 6 Brigands. Now I'm looking for Gypsies. I can't find a single one on the entire island. I've see the above, as well as Raiders, Pirates, and Witchdoctors, but no Gypsies. I tried sailing to Cutthroat Isle and killing a couple of Gyspies there, but it doesn't give me credit towards this quest. So obviously, the Undead Gypsies must be on Padres del Fuegos. But where???? I've been all over the island, and through the three parts of the cave system, and not a single one. Any ideas? Am I looking in the wrong place? Did they take them off Padres for some reason?

Gypsies can be found in the Jungle and Beach there, and the jungle is the next map after Beckett's Quarry.

Swordsman 01-25-2008 04:47 AM

Got it. I just saw on another thread that there is another exit from the Quarry, which I haven't noticed before. I'll have to check it out.

No problem mate, I'm here to help out when it's needed.

Swordsman 01-25-2008 04:56 AM

Yep, found them there. Thanks!!!

Avoiding the Quarry and Jungle!

If you're on the teleport quest and don't want to have to go through the quarry or jungle each time you end up back in jail, you can still get to the hidden beach!

You can see if from your ship by sailing around the island but you can't dock there.

What you need to do is to jump off the dock near the fort then SWIM around the island till you get to the beach! On the beach there's various shacks where you can stand behind with excellent hiding places so that you can shoot at the grenadeers and gypsies with minimal damage. Once you've got them all, you can then run to the dock on this hidden beach and pick up your ship!

I'm looking for more hidden beaches on other islands. Has anyone found any?

Gypsies can also be in the Catacombs, sometimes you have to wait for them to appear on a rock on the left.

Only thing with that island is the giant crabs are quite time consuming (at least for me they are).
