Did You Know? ...On Stranger Tides edition - May 25th, 2011

Many exciting elements of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides have charted a course into Pirates of the Caribbean Online… some mysterious, some deadly, and each with a tale to tell.

Did You Know? Blackbeard’s sword is called the Sword of Triton because…

It’s rumored to have been forged by the legendary sea deity Triton himself in the ancient lost city of Atlantis. The Sword of Triton has passed from one ancient mariner to another, until most recently falling into Blackbeard’s possession.

Did You Know? The Sword of Triton’s special ability is…

“Triton’s Vengeance!” Three sapphires of Triton are embedded in the blade, granting it “more power than meets the eye” as hinted at in the mysterious poem the Marceline GMs found with the sword. Pirates battling with the Sword of Triton do extra damage against the vile crew aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge.

Did You Know? The figurehead on the Queen Anne’s Revenge is…

based on the ensign of Blackbeard’s own flag, a horned skeleton clutching a goblet in one hand and a spear in the other. A toast to Blackbeard’s plundering?

Did You Know? The deck of the Queen Anne’s Revenge is adorned with…

the grisly bones of Her crew’s victims.

Did You Know? The nefarious crew aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge are…

“Jumbee” – malevolent supernatural beings, well-known throughout Caribbean lore. These soulless creatures are held in thrall to do their master’s bidding, always thirsty for battle and fresh victims. Though it’s whispered that Jolly Roger may be working his own dark control over these vile enemies…

Lets see... Multiple choice!!!

A) That this will be a new update.

B) That this will be nothing but news to get us excited.

C) That this will lead to a new story chapter.

D) Both A&C

Im going to go with... B

I dunno, the next update will likely be sea-oriented, and Jumbees can only be found at sea.. We'll just have to "see." :P (Horrible pun.)

That isn't wishful thinking in regards to the movies. Without doubt Atlantis is going to be something major in the 5th and 6th parts.

Either way. The last part about Jolly Roger alludes to the fact that the Sword ordered us pirates, to attack the undead flagships!

Do you not sense some sort of feud mates?
