Lost My Ship?!?
 

So I was travelling on my Sloop from Cuba to Tortuga and my internet kicked off. When I managed to get online, I was in the jail and when I went to get back on my ship it was grayed-out with no way for me to launch to it. I ended up hitching a ride to Tortuga, thinking it was there, and it wasn't. Nor was it at Port Royal. I am at a loss. I have bought a new one, but believe it or not, it just isn't as good as my first one (the one I had to get the parts for), even though they are the same with only different names.

I want my first one back if possible, but while it remains listed in my available ships, it remains grayed-out leaving me no actual access to it.

Any ideas on how I get it back? I can't help but wonder if it sunk after I was kicked off the internet. If so, is there a way to get Sunken Ships back? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Grayed out, or red? If it is red then that means it is sunken and you can go to a shipwright and click repair to repair it for some gold. If it is actually grey and not actually sunken, then I would go on Live Chat and see if you can talk to someone there, giving them your Account ID and the pirate... maybe they could fix it.

It could be a server change. If I leave a friend on a ship and log off, if I yet on a different server I can't launch any ship. The game could have accidentally let you on another ship.

When this happens and ye ship has a crew it stays at sea. That is why ye could not repair it. Next time this happens when ye get back go to the dinghy and re-board ye ship. Bam back in business!

That happened to me too, I had to wait until it was sunk.

I had a strange moment when I got kicked off my ship. It wasn't greyed out when I came back, so I set off and found this random basic guy steering my ship!!! I took control and docked, but when I set off again he was still there! I swear I hadn't a clue who he was!

I think it is red. I will check it out and see if I can get it repair at the shipwright. Thank you ALL so much for your help! I feel MUCH better about it now.
