I don't get it..
'' Hint: Don't wear more than one eye-patch when playing this game! ''
How is that a hint? |
That is just a joke. A really bad joke.
|
It's a very valid point. Do you know how many pirate casualties are caused by pirates with poor judgement, who choose to wear two or more eye patches while playing? Why, the Great Trade Traffic Jam of 1724 was caused because my uncle (rest his scurvy soul) couldn't make out a darn thing! I told the bloke to hand in his license, but nooo!
But, seriously, it's just a little joke Disney added to make you smile now and then. |
I tried that you know! My pirate ended up bumping into things, walking straight into Foulberto Smasho, and sailing right into the middle of a Treasure Fleet! Its a valid hint, and I'm glad they gave that. Along with not feeding those Alligators... usually their confused about what is the food...
Yeah, just a little joke, along with Don't feed the Alligators/Don't pet the scorpions! |
i feel bad for the UNDEAD versions of animals. i once tried myself to ignore them as if i am just standing but..... then the jail....
|
I always have laughed at that "hint". Great joke, D!
|
It is a joke from the same vein as this one:
A pirate with a peg leg, a hook for a hand, and an eye patch was applying for a crew position. The first mate looked him up and down and began to ask him questions. "How did ye lose yer leg?" "A shark bit it off," the pirate replied. "And yer hand, "the mate added. "How did you lose that?" "A shark bit it off," the pirate replied. "And... what about your eye?" "I had an itch," the pirate replied. "How could an itch cause you to lose yer eye?" the mate queried. "I got the itch the day after after I got me hook," the pirate answered. :psmiley35: |
Ugh, it's actually one of the most valid hints in the game.
As Del mentioned, the Great Trade Traffic Jam of 1724 was caused by carelessness. I suggest you listen to what Disney says, they know what they're talking about. |

Have you ever tried playing this game with 2 eyepatches? Then you would know.
