I was wondering, what do you guys think of the new movie?
Did you think it was: Awesome, Good, Nuetral, Bad, or Horrible?

I was watching a program the other day about all new movies and they rated POTC4 2 out of 5. They said Jack's acting was very bad, they didnt see the story line and that overall they were confused on what was happening :psmiley27:. Do you agree with them? What would you rate it out of 5?

I'd give it a 3 out of 5. Not as good as the other films. I disagree with the review about Jack's acting. It was the best in the film! I didn't like Angelica, though, which was a major flaw. The likely reason for poor reviews may be that it was a different director. Pirates is not Pirates without Gore Verbinski!

I agree, I would give it around a 3.5 out of 5. I liked Angelica but they could have done more work on her scenes.

We need Gore Verbinski back.

Through my eyes, the series ended with At World's End. I think there will be a Pirates 5, and I'll go see it, but to be honest I think the series is dead and buried. I did laugh a lot when watching On Stranger Tides, and it was good right up to the arrival of Angelica, but then it sort of went downhill. Don't get me wrong, I don't regret going to the cinema to see it, but... it's probably my least favourite film in the series.

I loved the mystery, the magic, and the Fighting. I loved the surprises, and the ending. :laughks2:

I don't get why you people didn't LOVE it.

Best movie out of all, the plot was easy to undertsand, Blackbeard was a great addition, mde the story better. Blackbeard wasn't some bad guy who was bad because of his childhood, and you felt bad for him, he was one of those few bad guys that were bad just to be bad, and he took bad to a new level!!! xD

On Stranger Tides was much better than 2 and 3... 1 and 4 are tied in my opinion with a 4.5/5.

I found the plot easy to understand, but with enough twists to keep me entertained. The acting was excellent in my opinion. Angelica's character added an interesting thread to the plot. I think... ah... the mermaids could have been a little less creepy. Although they didn't bother me really. Oh, and I want to know what happened with the preacher guy. :pirate6:

I'm planning to pre-order On Stranger Tides. Can't wait until autumn when it'll get here!

I am glad they made the mermaids creepy. When I first heard they were gonna have mermaids I did not like the idea. It seemed a little too kiddish to have mermaids with my sexy pirates lol. But when I saw they were crazy demonic mermaids, it made up for it lol.
