Inferno Guild/ Guild Sizing
Hi I just want some info on this guild and was wondering what is considered large/medium/small guild. Thanks
|
INFERNO is probably one of the more well known guilds throughout the Caribbean. They are a maxed out guild led by their Guildmaster Ned Yellowbeard, but they only accept pirates that have unlimited access.
I'm not sure what the big deal about them is, but I do know that most pirates either love them, or hate them. One pass through Abassa and you're more than likely going to see a few pirates arguing over the guild. Regardless, I personally haven't dealt with them in the past, so I can't accurately comment. There are a lot of varying definitions as to what type of guild is small, and which is large. In my own terminology,"Small Guilds" usually refer to guilds that have roughly under about 125 pirates. Medium guilds usually range from about 125 - 300 members, and then larger guilds would consist of 300 - 500 pirates (the max amount one guild can hold.) Of course, this scale will probably be different for somebody in a guild like McRaging, Spania, etc. that have a guild bursting at the seams, than somebody like me with a guild of 180. It all depends on perspective. And, as I always say, remember size does not make the guild. A guild of 20 quality members is better than an army of 500 screaming, inactive pirates. |
Thanks. So I guess that my guild of 21 is small XD

INFERNO is the main topic of abassa nowadays or at least it seems. As Del said you either hate them or love them. I've talked to Ned Yellowbeard and he seems like a pretty cool pirate. I think many are either angry that they can't join because of a lvl reuirement or jealous that their guild is not as high as they are. Silly stuff like that.

INFERNO is full of high leveled guild hopping drama causing UBERNOOBERS. it is a guild filled to the brim (literally) with Abassa Pirates. =p
|
INFERNO = 94% Maxed pirates whom want to brag about what guild they're in.
3% Pirates who just wanna have fun. 2.8% Pirates who just want to be in the biggest guild. 0.2% Somebody who tries to run up to the wheel and steal your ship immediately when you get back from flagships. |
INFERNO, isnt really one of the "best" guilds. Its mostly "Ok, so the guild has ____ members so we're going to war with it."
"wOOt!!!!!!!! I GOT MY 18TH WORLD EATER BLADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" mY SHIP IS BETTER THAN YOURS" "You fail!" ect. AND if you leave the guild to be in a friends guild to meet your friends friend, Ned willlike, freak, and say stuff like "If you dont join back right now you cant join again", ect. So, I'd try a guild on the guilds subforums. Partners N Crime Black Bart's Krewe Deuces Wild ( did I spell dueces right? ) & SHadow Sorcerors |
You seriously have to be Unlimited... wow. I was planning on just totally maxing out my pirate before I stopped using Unlimited because there isn't really any need for it after that. They do realize that it cost money for Unlimited, and that money doesn't grow on trees, right? I agree with Skype.

I'm maxed, and i still use UA. Why? Because the game's still fun after you max. Even better if your UA. Just FYI, Hammy.
|
yeah you kinda need UA to have a lot of fun as a maxed pirate... whats the point of having mastered sailing if you're sailing a light frigate? lol
|
I guess I see your point. Still...

very good point del i was in a guild that allowed only unlimited members and we died at 180 or something like that because of innactivity on the gms part but when it was arround 100 members i joined and i loved it i had recently left the savvy on my main pirate Finn and i logged on xander because he was my only other pirate he was in the guild and i really liked them. so i asked for them to invite Finn and there was at least 10 members online. the guild had been around for at least 3 months and lasted 1 and a half years after that but my point is that the guild lasted a really long time just enough time for the gm to master 4 pirates and stop playing and he only invited unlimited the point in only inviting unlimited is to prolong the time the guild exists the reason the guild died was not because of innactive guild members but because of an innactive gm the most common way for a guild like that to die is losing a key part of the guild ik that because of the savvy and the US Defenders. |
