A waste of time.
 

I've received some messages in and out of POF asking about my activity and play time. I feel it's necessary to say I've encountered a lot of unneeded stress, and 3 years of my life appeared to be devoted to a virtual game. No more of that. I feel compelled to go out in the world and explore what else there is. I'm now apart of clubs, I'm an officer of a huge society of people, and I know that I did this because I haven't been playing as often. I will now say that I'm officially done. No more checking up on POF. No more playing at all. I am sorry for any who were close, please add me on xfire (I still check that) and we can talk there. (ID is hookshot50) Thank you all for such great times, and pulling me out of bad ones. I leave knowing I've left an impact on this community.

It makes me sad that something like that pushed you to such decision. You are a good kid. I am also glad that you have decided to explore and see what's out there, whether its Virtual or Real. Relax and take that stress out of your system. There's no need to worry about a game. I agree with you, this game has brought those unwanted problems to more than a few. Stay safe out there and hopefully you will be compelled to at least pay your virtual family here at POF. Find balance in your life and be happy.

It makes me very sad to see you leave for good you have definitely made an impact on these forums and even in the game, you were a great pirate and you are an even greater person! You will be greatly missed by many of us here (myself included) and I am very very sad to see you go, but at the same time I completely understand your reasons, I have also faced a lot of real life stress (not caused by the game) and it has kept me from playing as much as normal..

I could ramble on all day, but I will spare you all the boredom.

It's sad to see you go... But I respect you for not leaving a month ago with all the stress the game has given you lately. It's sad to see you go... but I know that you are leaving for a very good reason, TO GO OUTSIDE AND SEE THE WORLD!!!!

Wow... I can't believe that I'm reading this...

Hook, I haven't known you for more than a few months, but let me say that in that time, I felt like we were two brothers. Two brothers that never actually met. It really makes me... sad, to say the least, to see that you have decided to leave. Those times that the two of us had those secret little conversations about those small (or big) little things. I felt that we both changed each other, for the better. You really made me realize a thing or two about myself that nobody ever made me see. Thank you for that Hookshot.

Not only that, but you left a huge impact on the game, more than you or others realize. Without you, Eternal Warlordz wouldn't have gone on for as long as it did. You're a great leader, and you've got a lot of qualities that I don't feel the need to list that will get you incredibly far in life.

Hookshot, you're a brother to me. Family is not just blood, as they say mate. Fair winds, and keep in touch with me, with the occasional in game visit, xfire, or some other means. I'll miss you mate. I am very honored to call myself your friend. :)

I can't believe what I see. What I read on this site. I'm, sorry Hook. I've had, many many good friends throughout my time playing, but I gotta admit, you were more than just a good friend, you were almost like a brother, or a brother in arms:laughks2:. Anyway, I'm saddened to see this, I will miss you. You were probably the best GM a guy could have. I know what it feals like to get involved in clubs, social activites, etc. I know what it is like to spend 3 years playing a punch of codes put into polygons (sorry, I just had to add that), basically a virtual games. I know, sometime games can and will be a waste of time, so I believe the choice you made was right. Though, we will all miss you, you have a good path ahead of you. I pray for the best, Joey.
