Congratulations to Dog Gunmorgan for Achieving Senior Officer!

This is a big promotion, so it deserves its own thread.

Today was a very special day for one of our Shadow Sorcerors. It is not every day that someone get's to have the great honor of achieving such a rank. It has only happened a few times. Today, it happened again to our very own Dog Gunmorgan.

I remember when I first met Dog. I was flipping a coin back in November on Andaba Tortuga, just looking at everything that was going on. I see a person walk up to me and put up a thought bubble saying that he was looking for a new guild. I didn't hesitate to give a whisper to this person, Dog Gunmorgan, and he was quickly assimilated into the guild. Immediately, he started making friends with everyone. He was always talkative, social, helpful, and of course, had an amazing sense of humor. Within a few weeks, he was made a veteran.

As a veteran, Dog continued to assist in making our guild a better place for everyone in it by whatever means necessary. He strived to be the best he could, and definitely was. Over the next two or so months, Dog continued to show guild spirit, love for his fellow Sorcerors, and set a great example for any new members. At the March Meeting, he was promoted to Officer.

As Officer, Dog took maximum responsibilities. He would invite great new members into the guild, assist in keeping order during events and even do little mini, spur of the moment events. He also helped Christopher plan out the Ship Fleet event a few weeks ago, which was a hit among our guild. Not only that, but he helped to maintain order, and if any problem should arise, he would not hesitate to get the problem fixed and notify me that very day.

Dog, I can't say everything you've done. But we all know deep down that you have done so much for this guild. Without you, this guild would not be the same place. So I know you are probably going to want to thank me and the Council of Shadow for choosing you for this great honor, but don't. Instead, let us thank you for being a part of this guild. Let us thank you for being who you are, and for doing everything you can to help make this guild a better place.

I can't tell you how honored I am. I have always done my best to be a part of the family that is the Sorcerors like Davy said in the post he found me wandering around on abassa looking for a good guild and took me in... the reception from the guild was... well.. amazing I felt at home right away and decided right then and there to work as hard as possible to be a part of this family I never expected to get this far so fast especially considering other than me there are (I think) only two senior officers keeping that in mind I take this as a huge promotion and I can't thank Davy and the council of shadow enough for seeing me worthy of such a great honor! I only hope that I can remain worthy of this position.. but more importantly I want to stay a part of this family forever!!

EDIT: you guys are all amazing I think the guild deserves an award for being so good to me! you guys don't realize it but you keep me going sometimes... lately I've had A LOT of RL stress and hard things to deal with but this guild is so amazing when I'm feeling down and stressed out I can log onto the game and my problems disappear for awhile because the guild is so friendly and family like it's like going home when I log on I just want to thank you all for being so awesome
