Legacy
http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/uu92/pncgm/PIC.png Most of you probably recognize the image above from somewhere before. And if you do, consider yourself with a good eye - it's the same image that I usually use whenever I make posts like this. But, why? The image above was one of the original images created to help introduce Partners In Crime to the rest of the Caribbean. From the very first time it was conceived, until now, it has followed our guild through 3 and a half very long, up-and-down years. And yet to see that it still exists to this day, to serve as a symbol of our guild, shows that even through it all, we have not forgotten what makes us truly who we are - and, that we have not abandoned our roots. It's hard to believe that one of the Caribbean's oldest guilds is still around to this day, to not only be a part of the community, but to thrive within it. History is but a cruel thing - it allows some to be lost in the sea of time, and others, to stand on the sidelines and watch it happen. And in the years to which our guild has been around, we have definitely seen our fair share of guilds, but strong and weak, large and small in size a like fade away. And not only that, but time has had a more personal affect on us, as that it has made us watch dear friends of ours, some of our very own guild mates, depart. And then, we can even remember the day when we ourselves almost fell in to the unforgiving seas of the past. That ill-fated day where the disappearance of such a great guild almost became evident - so evident, that it happened. Yet, only for a moment. What time cannot understand is that a force more powerful than it itself was also prevalent on that day - love. The common love amongst a group of friends, a love that was centralized around the idea that the friendships you create in a game can be more important than just that, "friendships in a game." We as a guild loved that idea that from these friendships, could develop a sort of second family, where every person who chose to join it was immediately accepted, no matter who they were or where there came from. And when you cherish something so dearly, you know you cannot bare to see it go. And that's how we came to be. Partners N Crime was founded on that idea, created by it's predecessor, and has since then made sure that no pirate is turned away from being accepted as much as you would a good friend. We stand here today not as just a guild, but an example to all guilds, that in the times of the utmost peril, love for one another can still prevail over all. So, here we are. A guild that has made a transition through over three years, living off of the same idea. And although the guild itself has made it's way across two namesakes, and has been passed to a nearly completely new generation of pirates, we can still know that what was established three years ago can still be celebrated. And celebrating such a legacy, we will do. I invite all pirates to, on Saturday, June 11th, 2011, come join us in basking in such a momentous occasion - two years of Partners N Crime. What: PNC's 2nd Anniversary! When: June 12th, 2011, at 7:00 PM Eastern Where: The Royal Anchor Tavern, Port Royal, Monada Who: All Pirates! I hope to see plenty of pirates there to help celebrate with us. Thank you to all the pirates that have made getting to this moment possible - and for now, and for always, PNC Til Death! |

I'd give a speech, but I don't want to take up too much space in my post... and I've worn out my speech skills today.
Instead I'll just say: I'll be there mates, for a guild that I consider as close to me as my own. PNC 'till death! |
We're a ship going at ramming speed that never ceases to stop, only increase speed. We've torn through all of the obstacles in our way and will not stop.
I will most definately be here. PNC 'Til Death!! |
I'll try to make it, my friend.

I started playing pirate in Early November of 07,(sorry mods but there is a point for my date stamp) When I joined the seas to fight I began with the very infamous, Burning Legion, which at that time was one of the first guilds that sailed the seas, from there after the guild dissolved we became the House of Dread another infamous guild tho short lived which was in memorial to our guild master from BL dreadbeard, and finally the Dread Privateers, again in memorial to our first GM from in this guild I met my Husband at the time Isaiah, not mostly known as Enrique in guild, The guild became a second family, most of whom I talked to more than my own family, whom there was such a bond with that I could call them family and when one of us was struck with tragedy we all came to the rescue. I find that I have yet again found this in another guild, Partners in Crime has become another family, tho most are alot younger than me I see myself as the cool aunt haha! There is great satisfaction and pride in myself and our guild in whom we are and what we stand for. I do not see this as just a game guild but a family. I am very proud to call myself a Partner and will do so till the end of game. There is much respect for one another in this guild and fellow pirates. I will fight to the knockout/ jail and beyond for you my friends and my family. PNC TILL DEATH!!

Del has officially gone in to secretive mode for the rest of the week - all surprises, announcements, and, of course, the infamous Guildmaster's Speech, will remain close guarded and known only to myself until the time of the event. I'm trying to do my best to make sure I outdo myself this year as I did the last :psmiley35:
The celebration is less than one week away - are ya ready, pirates? Hope to see you there :buds: |
Unfortunately I'll be missing this event. I'll be visiting the Mouse. Hope all goes well!
|
Well, I'll be there.
Think of this as a "Ropeburn" comeback aswell, And.... I'll get out the paint... |
As a new member of PNC, I don't know much about its history. However, I do know that I've joined a strong, happy guild that I can always trust. And I can have a laugh with you too! I won't forget that raiding party as my first event of PNC. I love everything about this guild - the members, the events, the right amount of chatting... I'm so glad to have joined!
Sadly, I can't make the event. It starts after midnight where I am, and by the time it's over I'll be falling asleep on my keyboard! And this isn't the sort of event that I'd like to remember as, 'the event that made me tired'. Have a great time, and leave me a bottle of rum! (I doubt that highly) |
Well... I can't attend <_>
