Notoriety/weapon level higher?

We currently are set at 50 notoriety with weapons levels 30. When this update was added, it came with no new skills for any weapon which kind of made the game really easy because we could fix our skills with the extra points for more damage and longer lasting time. Right now there is only a few things a level 50 cannot do alone as everything is just easy...

I personally think they should increase the Noto. and weapons level however they NEED to add at least one new skill for each weapon(I don't think there has been a new skill since the game came out). Also along with that, they should Increase the overall difficulty(ex. stronger enemy ships with more hull, etc.) and add new higher enemies that will challenge master levels and keep them interested in the game.

The second one says "if they make new higher level enemies"

To be honest, a level increase alone would make things worse. The only thing I know of that cannot be soloed is Test's The Queen Anne's Revenge.

If Disney actually raises the difficulty of the game and makes higher level enemies, then sure, a higher level cap would be OK.

I don't like leveling. However, that is the only answer that seemed to fit, the option of other is needed because I do think that there is no need to raise any levels until they release a new chapter to go with it. Besides, why raise the levels? Just to have people rush in and master in a day or so after the release? No, even better, raise the levels once Disney releases 2 more chapters.

I don't like leveling because when the cap was 40, I was 39 one day and I was ready to master. But the next day, they increased it to 50 and I wasn't happy.

That must have been frustrating. I'm trying to get Misty mastered quickly, but it's just taking ages. I hope Disney don't increase the level cap before I master Misty, because just the thought of that makes me want to blow up.

If they do increase the level cap, I think it should be to 75, because that's a nice number with a ring to it. But if they do increase it I think it'll probably be 60, which doesn't have a ring to it... :piratetongueor4:

I wouldn't mind, as long as there were lots of things to go with it to help us level up. I don't want to have to grind my way to level 60 (or whatever the new cap would be). Perhaps a story chapter or two, some events that we could do that give us big rep. I don't know, just SOMETHING to give us more rep other than grinding weapons.

...it would be nice if they waited until I mastered Tiberius first though. I've always dreamed of having two mastered pirates.

I am close to mastering my 5th(46), 6th(47), 7th(49), and 8th(47).

I will never master another new pirate again unless I get a test account. If the cap goes up and its grinding again I will decide if I will master my crew again.

This will depend on new content in the pipeline. If it is all is the same as now, then I may master again on one or two, no more.

Increasing the caps would be fine if there were more baddies that were a challenge. Also, at some point you will cap are of the abilities for each skill. Maybe some new skills or abilities?

I Agree I think after At Stranger Tides maybe they will add more chapters since the movie will have a storyline to it i hope they add that to the game and increase the cap to

It wasn't day, but I had the same problem. I moved and left the game for a while and when I came back to master, I found that I had a lot of work to do.

If I get to 49 with all weapons at 29 and they increase it, I will not be pleased.

Jason Bilgemart 05-17-2011 06:19 PM

I said no, I HATE leveling.
