Lag better than it once was?

Ahoy!

So, I'm thinking of resubbing to this lovely game, which I last played a little over a year ago. I probably had more good and simple fun in potco than any other online game I've played (and I've playd many, many MMOs). I liked the game so much that I was able to put up with the horrendous lag for months until I finally gave up.

I never had any huge glitches, or crashing, or game-breaking freezes... What I had was fairly severe, entirely persistent lag which made everything a little bit more aggravating (sp?).

My computer is a fairly advanced gaming laptop, and I have enough hard drive space, RAM, and a good enough video card to run some much higher demand games than potco with no latency whatsoever.

I'm not a computer expert, so maybe there's something specific that I did that conflicted only with potco... But other than that, I think it must've been a problem with Disney's servers or something.

I just want to know - have you experienced similar issues? Do they continue to this day? Is there a reasonable way to stop them, or do I have to sacrifice myself to the beast in order to kill it?

Regards,
RS

I upgraded the RAM on my MAC and I haven't been Disco or Laggy since. And Boy did I froze, lagged, and Disco'd!

The lag from a year ago is multiplied two fold now.

If you come back, come back as a basic to see if it isn't as bad for you. But lag was certainly better a year ago compared to how it is now.

Is there no way to stop it?

I upgraded my RAM and that took care of it. You could try lowering your game settings. And laying in Quiet servers always helps.
