Fellow Pirates,

We have been under constant duress as of late. We've had to defend our seas against vicious Navy and EITC Fleets who seek an object of unknown location.

We've had to defend against onslaughts of undead who seek to ravage OUR islands.

In some battles, we Pirates have been victorious. In others, we've had to fall back and heal our wounded.

Never forget, we are Pirates! We stand resolute regardless of the obstacles in our path.

However, it has come to our attention that this recent increase in enemy activity has a grander purpose. These invading forces seek a single item. A weapon rumored to give those who wield it added powers over their enemy.

Attachment 4410Sadly, the trio of James Howe, Catherine Harcourt and Ben Bowman of our own Marceline Guild were captured by the Navy after getting this valuable information to us.

Use it well, Pirates - it is imperative that this weapon be found before it falls into the wrong hands. We must not let this item of great value be discovered by our enemies ... Pirates must fight back harder than ever!

I urge all Pirates to keep the enemy at bay. Fight them on land. Drive them back to the seas. Send them all to Davy Jones' locker.

I make my way for Tortuga in a few days. Upon my safe return, I hope to bring great news for all Pirates.

I wonder what this one item is? It will probably be a quest very soon. Maybe a new island?

If you read it again it states it's "a weapon that is rumored to give those who wield it added powers over their enemy"

So it is not an island or a new quest but a new weapon... yawn.

wonder if its another legendary....... weapons... jollys cursed cutlass or something.. lol

Awesome! I'll bet 520 gold that this is going to be a new quest, and i'll bet 250 gold that it well be a continuation of the Ravens cove story quest!

Maybe it could be the moonstone if I remember correctly it let you control the wind. To control the wind would slow down enemy ships or speed up yours. When they took out what was left of a quest and came up with the raven cove quest. Not to say that the ravens cove quest replaces moonstone. Using the new quest system they have, they may have redesigned the quest so it works with the new system.

ahh it may be shadow cutlass... it was in game files but not out yet... but i doubt
i wonder if its better them legendary... maybe hmm idk royal legendary weapon or something...

How'd you find that out, CC? What makes you guess that?

Well, everytime they release new weapons they have a cute little story to go along with it. And staffs should be next I believe.

Single item = Legendary
Powers over their enemies = Voodoo

Other than that, I have no clue.

Could be some new staffs... but staffs don't exactly give you power over your enemy... thats more the voodoo doll. It could easily be staffs... but why all the fuss about this for a few staffs? I mean, its possible, but I foresee something bigger.

Its probably a sword with an attack called " enemy control " or something, and its the same thing as " Not the face! ". It will probably "rare" and it will have an atttack of 37 and requires a master swordsman level.

Is it me, or does "Not the face!" do nothing? it says that it stops physical attacks, but darkheart still uses his word and it still damages.... *sigh* the day POTCO does a major update and doesnt have useless stuff in it.....
