Guild chat
 

Is it just me or is guild chat filtered. I found many mundane words, like 'most', I just can't say in guild chat. However in local chat I can speak freely.

I sent in a bug report about this a long time ago. Any word containing "mo" will be blocked in guild chat but not local chat. Not sure why, but it makes things difficult when you want to say things like "I need one more frigate" or "I'm almost there" or even "see you tomorrow."

I had never noticed this problem till yesterday and it was really irritating and I had to spell out the word it also didn't like the word vodka for some reason lol

This bug has been reported several times and yet nothing has been done about it. You know its like a 10 minute fix at best since it is likely a very small syntax error or something.

We find that we have to just crew up and use that chat which means having everyone stay on the same server, but it works much better.

However, guild chat seems to be restricted like Toontown chat while Local isn't. Not sure why they did that.

Was talking about this tread last night and tried the "mo" thing in local and it wasn't having any of it. I feel for any pirate named Molly (which isn't that a name choice in the generater)? Or a poor pirate named Mo. They'll never get asked to the party since they will never see the words. BTW in local chat you see it as going through but nobody else does. This may be why everyone thinks it does work in local?

i thought it was just realy bad chat lag since i once sent a message and an hour later, it came up...but ya, chat stuff does need to get fixed fast

I agree. Sheltering the 8 year olds that play the game is fine, but the rating is everyone ten and OLDER, not everyone at the age of TEN. Appeal to all players, please and thanks.
