Little Idea For Invasions
 
Why is it that when Jolly wins, he just leaves? In my opinion, if Jolly wins an invasion, then he should take control over the island, and there should be skeletons varying in level patrolling the streets. When he is victorious and conquers the island, then a skull logo should go above the island's name when you are sailing and on the island in the map. To free the island, you would have to kill at least 75% of the patrolling skeletons and defeat the boss located inside the main building of the island (Governor's Mansion, Faithful Bride, inside Padres Walls). The boss would be stronger than Darkhart, but weaker than El Patron. Once that is done, the island returns to normal. Enemies' respawn time is about four minutes.

Tell me what you think of this idea. Its a small one, but I think it would be cool... its a bit silly how Jolly pretty much goes: "I HAVE DEFEATED YOU ALL! I AM VICTORIOUS! kthxbye."

Second, I have also been wanting something to happen after Jolly wins, and this is the perfect idea. This is a great idea, mate. :D

Yeah its an amazing idea but I think it might be a problem when people are on Tortuga or whatever on a quieter server and you are in that situation it would be hard to navigate through, especially as a low level, to get quests done et cetera without getting killed

I see what you're saying there. Perhaps it could time out after two hours. That way you wouldn't have servers with islands stuck that way forever.

That's more like it!! Maybe, and this is just cuz I'm a noob, you can have an immunity button where you can't hit them they can't hit you because you're low lvl. Idk just seems to only favor the 50's. This is what POTCO talks about at board meetings. There is always something contradicting a great idea :/ oh well.

Davy, this is by FAR the best idea you have ever had. Walking in and destroying only one thing would be something the Navy would do.

And, it would be better for the social part of the game. if a low level has a quest on Tortuga, he'd need to get past all the skeletons but he can't, so he'd have to talk to a high level for help. I think it would help bring the POTCO community closer.

May i e-mail this to POTCO?

I see what you're saying 23 but that also gives a high level a chance to say " Go away noob I'm busy ".

I really do like this idea though.

Well the community wasn't always "go away noob i'm busy" Way back when people actually helped everyone. i help everyone that needs it. I think they should put this in game. Theres plenty of us willing to help the "noobs" out in getting around. Besides the idea of enemy guards patrolling was in the old port royal when Navy guards wandered the islands. Although they were not that high of a lvl.

Pirate it's still worth a shot. i mean, how many maxed pirates would turn a newb down like that? there are plenty of nice high levels that would be willing to help out.

Trust me Tom, I know. I have been around since the game was made. I think I had a Beta account. I loved the old days where everyone was nice and helped out. I agree that this would be worth a shot.
