EITC Flag

I am having massive problems getting the EITC flag. I have been trying to sink a ship but they are all like level 20 something and I am only level 5!!

Am I going about this in the right way? Any tips anyone could give me would be great.

There are some level 6 eitc ships off the coast of port royal... just hang around for a bit. Otherwise, try joining someone else's crew or teaming up with a couple other ships - as long as you get in a hit and someone sinks it you should be fine.

Actually there is a level 11 or 12 EITC flag ship that is ALWAYS right off the port at padre. Easiest EITC flag to take down that I know of.

Easy way to take down a flagship
(or any higher level ship) with a lower level ship.

Go to your ship, but do not put to sea.
Man a cannon and start shooting at ships.
Try the ships off Padres, they are always pretty close.
Usually a ship will stop in the water once it is hit,
get a few shots in before it starts moving toward you.
As it approaches, you can usually sink it before it gets really close and fires on you
(if it ever fires at all!)
Be careful with Phantom ships though, they like to use the lightning strike.

If you find that you are being attacked and may not survive
just jump to the helm, take the wheel and drop anchor!

I have sat, at shore, like this, and sunk 8-10 ships at a time.

Yeah...thats actually what I thought he meant...LOL

see...I thought he was asking for tips to sink higher level ships.
When I was a low level scurvy sailor, this is how I scored many higher level ships,
and leveled up my cannon skills.

Now I just run right over them with my War Galleon! LOL

Another thing to remember is, if you go to the quiet oceans, there will more ships available to you.

But on the other hand, sometimes it's easier to get in on the action of someone else, so you can get that flag ;) All you need is one hit on someone's eitc ship, and then circle around.
