"Pirate"...thingy.

If you look up from here ^^ you will see I am a "Pirate"...well of course I am!
I am talking about the profile "Pirate" title I have.
I notice that Jack Ironmalley is a "Reporting Pirate" and also a "Pirate".
I have seen things like this on CPF...and Batleth was talking about it and moving it to other forums. But what does the "Reporting Pirate" thingy?

HaveAMagicalDay 12-09-2007 11:47 PM

I believe these images were provided by Xiaolin. The "Reporting Pirate" I think means the POTCO Report.

The new designations are a forum feature only just recently implemented. Every member is assigned a designation to indicate their membership levels. Reporting Pirate would be members of the Potco Report.

This feature is still in the process of being completed so please give just a bit more time for it to be finished up. Thank you!

Silver Beard 12-10-2007 12:17 AM

And I am a member of the POTCO report...so shouldn't I have one?

Jack I 12-10-2007 01:30 AM

Right now, the only member who will have it if I'm right is me. When I send the list in to Nick on who needs to have access to the sub-forum, you're thing should change. Until then though, I'm one of a kind and all alone. ^^

Batleth 12-10-2007 02:16 AM

Go into your userCP and click on group memberships. Then you can pick which group you are a member of to identify yourself with. Once you've done that, that extra image will show up on your profile and posts.

I'm not a mod, so I don't know how you all set it up and hate to but in on Batleth's wisdom, but Nick told me to send him a list of who was allowed to join "The Pirate Report Group", so I'm not sure that would work in this situation.

Of course, I did tell him where he could find the list, Idk if it's set up though. ~.^

I believe Nick added users from your list yesterday.

Jack I 12-10-2007 02:41 AM

I wasn't sure if he did or not, cause all I said was you could find the list here, but never linked the list to the PM, thanks for lettin' me know though!

Batleth, the "Pirate" is above "First Mate" shouldn't it be next to it?

Test Pirate doesn't have much zing to it so we went with First Mate, since they get to test everything first. Hope that sheds some light on the subject.

On vmkf home page, when we are logged in, it shows our Member and what ever else we choose, but on pof, it doesn't. Is that on purpose, or is it something the mods/admins didn't see?
