suits
Does anyone else run into the problem of not being able to tell the diff between clubs and spades? There I'll be thinking I've got an awesome start to a flush and then Ill end up with nothing. the funny thing is,that its not all the time. Just certain cards suits will look the same. Please tell me I'm not the only donkey!

and you know what else is really difficult?...
looking just below your cards, and reading the text that tells you what hand you have. Its the easiest way to verify what cards you have and yet, do you think I could remember to look there?! Nope! |
That does come in handy, but usually it's too late for me when I'm trying for a flush. If I think I have 2 clubs or 2 spades before the flop I will usually call most raises, then when 3 clubs or spades come up and my warning still reads "A high" or something I know I've made the mistake again, but I'm usually already down quite a bit at that point. Drives me insane! I just need to be more careful I guess!

HA I thought it was only me with the old eyes, I can't tell the spades from clubs in some hands. You know you're old when you need a magnifying glass to play POTCO! :xtongue:
Too bad we don't have the option to change the cards to those "Jumbo" decks! |
I have a 21" monitor and still have to hunch forward and squint every time I get delt black cards.

The red cards aren't a whole lot better sometimes.
I'm trying to make myself look at the writing underneath first, every hand, before I start hemorraging gold into the pot. I'm getting better . . . |
