Fortune Quests?
 

when I try to get new quests from people I've been getting the response that i must complete one of my fortune quests first. What the dang do they mean? Thanks for any help!

Check your quest journal. The "fortune quests" are any quests that are not under the "Black Pearl" storyline category. Complete one of those first, then you can take a new one.

In Beta, after finishing a series of fortune quests, when I went back to get new ones, I kept getting the response, like you, that I needed to complete one before I could get more. I had completed them all and had no fortune quests left in my journal, yet was never able to get a new one. My friends didnt have the same problem and could continue getting new quests. Apparently there's still a bug with the quests where, sometimes, even after you've completed them, the game still thinks you haven't, that may not have been fixed yet.

Thanks so much, I was pretty sure that was what they were. I think it might be a glitch. I keep getting a couple of the quests over and over once I complete them. I'll just keep at it.

I have the exact same problem with my main character. No help from the folks at Disney yet. I paid full price for this second month so they better get some fixes done soon as I have already beaten the boss before it went offline and other than weapons, I can't do anything but level weapons and that's getting boring fast. Much more of not fixing this issue, as well as not already having a larger game questline in place as all mmorpg games have standard, will chase me away quickly from a great game that can offer so much but is falling short.

I'm not even getting a message like that when I try - the NPCs are not even offering me the quests anymore. I can get the skeleton quest from Sam Seabones, the cotton errand from Bartholomew Watkins and the Mercenary Job from Josie McReady. None of the rest of the of them come up.
