Vacation to Southern California

As you can see from the title, im going to Southern California so that means I wont be online for some time. Im going to leave on April 4th all the way to the 7th.
Unfortunately, I can not take my laptop so this means Dog Gunmorgan is going to have to organize some of his fleet idea/raid without me. Ill see you guys later!

Hope you have fun in the Hotel California!

Have fun! Go to Disneyland... and that Bengal Barbecue place... Oooh! And have a sign when you ride the POTC ride that says "HAIL TO THE SHADOW SORCERORS!"

Lol, have lots of fun.

I was going to do that but my printer wont work for some reason:sadmh9: and I looked up Bengal Barbacue and the food looks good, it makes me hungry...

Cannonfury 04-03-2011 02:47 PM

I say take a HUGE detour and go to Florida... much better beaches and a much nicer place,so southern and country :D

Disneyland is way better than Disney World. True their Star Tours is way better and the have a live Indiana Jones show, but they have no Mr. Toad, no Indiana Jones ride, and Pirates is more boring.

Don't forget to get fastpasses for World of Color at California Adventure. Get them as soon as the park opens. It gets packed and people stampede over them. Have lots of fun!

Aww!!! You are going to Bengal Barbecue???? That place is SO GOOD. I recommend the Safari Skewer. Yumm!!!

Tiberius Fireskull 04-03-2011 06:29 PM

No no, get that Polynesian thingamabober. Its like... chicken in a Polynesian sauce or something. 'tis very yummy.

The Skirata Clan 04-03-2011 09:49 PM

No! I would eat at that place over at Critter Country next to Splash Mountain. Were you can see the boats and such. That place soothes me.

Look at all of us who are not going but wish that we were.

That pizza place near Space Mountain is also pretty epic. I mean, it has REALLY GOOD pizza... even though its about eight bucks a slice... not including drinks and deserts... and that candy store on Mainstreet has AMAZING fudge.

Its funny how we're all talking about the food places and not the rides.

Christopher 04-03-2011 10:57 PM

Eight bucks a slice? Those slices must be pretty big.

The Skirata Clan 04-04-2011 12:49 AM

Well, all food is a bit pricey at Disney. But I don't mind paying for it. It's part of the Disney Experience.

And Davy, I guess we only talk about the food because the rides are the only thing all (of those who have been there) know about and have experienced them. The food on the other hand, its different because even if you go to Disneyland a week in a row you won't get to eat at all the places they have and once you go back for a second visit we tend to eat at the places we know.

The best place to eat when u are on a vacation is Captain Anderson's.... which is in Panama City Beach Florida :D

Ofury/ Tom 04-04-2011 02:23 AM

Panama City beach Florida? Was just there last weekend O_o

And while you all discuss the different ways of how to eat chicken on a stick, I'll just stick with my Mickey-eared chocolate ice cream. :smiley27:

Yeah, cause I'm cool like that.

Unfortunately, I've never been to Disney Land, but just Disney World - so, take some photos for Del, and a few post cards on top of that. Have fun, mate! :buds:
