Black Pearl/James Pidgeley/Warrant/Thieves Den
 

Okay so I am at level 9 Notoriety.

I am currently on the quest for "James Pidgeley" and I need to "Steal the Final Warrant" from a desk inside the Outpost in Thieves' Den cave on Tortuga.

I know where Thieves Den is (it did take me forever to find the first time though lol!)
But my problem is I get to the Outpost. There is a Thug LEVEL 10 and a Sargent LEVEL 10 standing outside. Sometime I manage to get inside but once I get inside there are two thugs worth LEVEL 10. And they both have poison daggers.

I have tried fighting. I have tried running up to the desk and searching before they hit me. Regardless I die. Over and Over again. And it seems like NO ONE is ever in there to help (other players) I try to recruit players to follow me and no way.

I am stuck. I just don't know what to do anymore. Is there a trick to getting these papers???

Find someone else who's going in or who would like to help. You really can't do it alone unless you're a higher level.

I think for the desk one you actually go into the house next to Doc Grog's? The way the game describes it is confusing, but I think I remember finding it there.

James Pidgley is the bartender known as Carver inside the bar on Tortuga.

I've tried that a few times. I got a friend to come with me. No,I didn't get it safely. I searched right when I went to jail,so therefore, I got the warrant. Don't try that,though.

I really suggest you find someone willing to go with you. It's tough to do this unless you're a high leveled player.

But if you can't find one...

Bring two tonics and use them ONLY when your health is really low. That should extend the fight which you should then be able to win.

Follow the instructions in your journal, and you'll find him. You can't find him without doing that.
