Hi All,

Ok Can someone please explain to me just how to get a leave from a Fly Trap? I am lvl 9 but all the fly traps I see are like lvl 15-19 over in Cuba. Is there something I'm missing here on how to kill these things? I tried shooting at them from a distance and didint even damage them. Died a few times,never managed to even dmg them.

So what am I doing wrong?

There are fly traps in the misty mire at tortuga (see my illustrated guide to tortuga in the guides section for more details) Some are around level 10 and you can often find people at least fighting here that may be able to help you.

As always, some tasks in this game do become more easy with the aid of friends or strangers and that is why being in a good guild can really help. Also when you need help jump from one 'ideal' server to the next until you find people in the area you need assistance with.

I found that instead of ranged attacks from far away, running right up to the fly trap, I could hack away at it with my trusty cutlass - and it never hi me once with the venom. Maybe I'm just lucky...
