a Josie McReedy Mercenary Quest...
 

I am sure this quest is for a future time, but I got a mercenary quest from Josie McReedy to "Defeat 15 Douses" for 175gold.

I know this game since beta, and am at lv34 already, but has anyone know more info on this? I have done every other quest so far, and this one sticks on me list since I got it.

I know I can drop it, but am curious.

I dont know about the Douses, but I had a quest on Beta, that I had picked up from one of the NPC's on Port Royal, to defeat Flotsams. For the longest time I had no idea where to find them, nor did anybody I knew. I finally dropped the quest, and later learned they are a type of character found only in the cave on Isla Tormenta (which I would never have been able to kill at the time I took the quest, and might have a hard time killing now).

Josie's quests should be limited to a certain Notoriety level. I picked up one for Hired guns that I carried for almost a week, slowly getting them on the EITC ships. Flotsams have come up, as well as Raiders. All of these creatures are generally 25+ in level.
Josie isnt the only one either. Johnny McVane will do that to you as well. The funny part is by the time you can handle these guys (try hitting one at a low level, you will understand what I mean, you will miss most of the time) you probably wont even want the gold being offered due to the 60k gold bug.

That must be a glance at the some of the new enemy types we know are coming. I'd drop it and try her again as the tasks are random high value targets and normally you will be offered some type of enemy found on tormenta such as dregs, flotsom, brinscum, etc.

I ran (very quickly) through the cave in Isle of Tormenta. There are Flotsom there and several other enemies I have seen nowhere else. I was lucky to get from point A to point B, they are all high level enemies.:skull:

The "Douse's" turned up to be "Urchinfist" in Isla Tourmenta Cave

I just took a quest from Josie McReedy. I have to defeat Dregs. Anyone know if these exisit yet ad where I could find them? Im greatful for any imput, I have searched everywhere it seems!

have ye tried tormenta?

At one of the entrances, theres a dreg, he weilds a dagger. You have to kill the spawns until you get more though.

Found them, they were in the Tormenta cave. I just hadn't gone all the way in. They do take awhile to spawn! Thanks!
